Have you found yourself feeling stuck, or you are just merely existing? Do you often isolate or avoid others because you don't want anyone else to know that you or a loved one has been struggling with addiction? Addiction is a challenge that is not easy to overcome and is nearly impossible to deal with alone. By finding your way to this page, you are taking the first step in committing to a healthier, more fulfilling life. If someone else’s addiction impacts you, you are taking a step toward understanding the addictive behaviors and exploring how to be supportive without enabling harmful behaviors.
My 15 years of practical knowledge and experience as a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) gives me a unique ability to listen empathically, reflect clarity to the underlying issues of your addictive behavior, help you turn destructive responses to strength, and set the new ground for your well-being rooted in developing effective emotional and behavioral management strategies and cultivating a healthier relationship with self and others.
My approach to therapy is active, collaborative, and warm, drawing from various evidence-based modalities to find the most supportive treatment for you as you advance towards where you want to be. I also specialize and have years of experience working with the military, military families, Veterans, substance abuse, and mental health in outpatient and residential treatment settings, facilitating groups, and individual psychotherapy.
Even though things can feel challenging and sometimes hopeless, we can work together to get you the help you need to heal and grow and more in control of your life.
Feel free to contact me for a free consultation call. I would love to learn more about what’s going on for you and see if we might be a good fit to work together!
